Personal Statement
I am Alexa Wenger a current junior at Carle Place High school. I have been playing lacrosse my entire life and joined club in 3rd grade. I am looking to continue playing at the collegiate level. I am a high IQ player, typically a mid/attacker/draw specialist but am versatile and willing to play wherever. I currently start on the varsity field hockey team (state finalists) and the varsity lacrosse team. Freshman year I started on varsity lacrosse (county finalists). Off the field I work hard in school to maintain a 3.7 GPA. I also love to coach and show the game to the younger generation . I am currently key club president, this opportunity teaches me leadership skills and responsibilities. I am also a Morgan’s Message ambassador and enjoy spreading awareness for mental health in athletes.
