Personal Statement
My name is Alex Melillo, I am a rising senior at Lutheran South Academy in Houston, Texas where I have been on the varsity basketball team since my freshman year. I am a two-way guard that orchestrates on offense and brings the intensity on the defensive end. I am part of the National Honors Society with a GPA of 5.56/6.00, and participate in our PALS leadership program at Lutheran South Academy. Basketball has been my passion for a long time and it has motivated me to be the hard worker I am today. The work ethic I have for basketball coincides with my work ethic toward my academics. I will give 110% on and off the court, and hope to find a college where I can play basketball at the next level and receive a high level of education.
