Personal Statement
I am Alex Johnson, Class of 2025, at Germantown Academy (GA) in Philadelphia. I full hit (including line drives and HRs), slap and bunt from the left with elite speed. I play CF/SS for the Pennsbury Gems under Coach Frank Ehrenfeld. I have a high softball IQ and use my lead-off position to manufacture runs by getting on base and stealing bags. Adding full hitting to my slapping allows me to work with my coaches to create unpredictable scenarios at the plate. I just finished my third year of varsity, starting in CF and SS, and I'm batting second with a 0.420 BA and over 0.500 OBP. I’ve made my all-league team 3 years in a row. In the classroom, In 2023-24, have a 3.6 GPA and two honors classes. I will be taking three honors classes next year.
