Personal Statement
My name is Alena Lopez, I have been playing volleyball since I was 7 years old and I been in love since. I enjoy playing the game of volleyball because I love the competitive streak it brings and the relationships I build along the way. When I am on the court I am free and all my worries go away. Volleyball also builds mental toughness, the little details and elements, bring focus to my mind. I consider myself a competitor and I will do anything to win. I hold my teammates accountable and work hard on and off the court. Outside of volleyball I love watching football, basketball, etc. Sports surround my life and I constantly love being around the fierce environment. Volleyball is my life and I am 100% committed to the sport, therefore I want to continue playing at the collegiate level.
