Personal Statement
My name is Alberto Cantalini and I am a 2023 catcher from Torrington, Connecticut. I started playing with Baseball U CT when I was 14 with Patrick Vigilio. In 2021-22, I attended Saint Thomas More in Oakdale, Connecticut, and played with Bob Hetu. I recently transferred from Northwestern Regional 7 in Winsted, in order to reclassify at Saint Thomas More to mature and improve my academic skills and standing. My main position is catcher, but I have had experience playing first base, third base, and left field. I always work to bring energy, motivation and a winning attitude not just to my game, but to my teams as well. I strive to be a team leader and mentor to younger players on my teams and in my organizations.
