Alaysia Despertt

I started playing volleyball when I was 12 and completed four seasons of club volleyball. My primary position is setter with occasional playing time as right side hitter. One unique attribute about me is I'm left-handed which adds a level of uniqueness to my game. I aspire to continue being a leader and grow in my skills. I consider myself a hard-working student-athlete. It's important that I excel in school & on the court. I played Varsity as a freshman and sophomore. Our team made it to State Finals ending as State Runners-Up in '24. I enjoy playing club volleyball and was a setter on Texas Fury 15s Legacy National. April '24 NE Qualifier, our team ended 3rd out of 96 teams. I completed '24-'25 club season with AP 16 Wilco Yellow.
