Personal Statement
My name is Alana Powell, Class of 2023, and I am interested in joining your team during the Fall of 2023 and continuing to basketball career. Some of my basketball accomplishments are that I’m the reigning 2023 Virginia State Class 6 Player of the Year, 2023 Regional Player of the Year, 2023 District Player of the Year and I’ve been name First Team all DMV Metro by the Washington Post. Additionally, I’m a 3-time District Champion, 3-time Regional Champion and 2-time VA State Runner Up. In my Junior Year, I was named 2nd Team VHSL All-State, 1st Team All Regional and 1st Team All District.
