Personal Statement
My goals are to continue my athletic and academic careers at a college with high-level soccer and academics. I've played soccer since age 2 and want to keep playing after high school. I love the game and the friendships it's brought me. I'm a 3 year varsity starter at Danvers High School in MA, primarily playing center back, but also striker and holding midfield. I was awarded All-Conference 2nd Team and Defensive Player of the Year. My size (5'10") and speed are key attributes. I'm strong in the air, excel at long balls, and am physical. I'm quick to recover and have a powerful leg for free kicks. Academically, I excel in math and science, enjoying problem-solving and understanding how things work. I seek a college that offers a challenging program in both areas.
