Personal Statement
Hi my name is Abigail (Abby) Ruiz and I will graduate in 2028. I am a freshman playing up in 18u & have worked hard to consistently hit in the top of our lineup. My primary position is Pitcher with a current velocity of 58-60 mph & Change up 42-45 mph. When I'm not in the circle I'll play anywhere I'm needed as versatile utility player with fast feet, quick direction changes and a ball-out-every-play mentality. I’m described by my peers as a leader & energetic. I'm coachable, team player and will crash through a wall for any coach who gives me the opportunity to play the sport I love. I am determined to continue playing ball in college while studying to become a teacher.
