Personal Statement
My name is Abby Kohan and I play softball for Arlington impact and Wakefield high school. Growing up I always found a way to stay active but nothing really stuck until softball. I started playing softball when I was eight when I got interested from seeing my cousin play. The strategy, and mental aspect of the game I really learned to love. I also like playing because there are so many options to find what positions really fit you. I'm motivated by my family, my teammates, and being able to play at a competitive level. I'm interested in environmental science but I'm not sure specifically what I want to do. My dream is to play softball in college to continue my athletic and academic careers and also build my character as a student athlete.
