Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Abby Hester and I'm 17 playing on NIVA's 17 Purple national team. My primary positions are OPP/ OH, but I am a very versatile player that can perform well in any position. This is my 4th year playing travel, but I have been playing volleyball since 4th grade. I attend Marian High School in Mishawaka, Indiana where I have been on the varsity volleyball team since my sophomore year. During the 2022 school season I was captain which allowed me to be a leader for my team on and off the court. At the end of the season I received the MVP award and all-NIC honorable mention. I also succeed in the classroom with a 4.16 GPA and am an active member of National Honors Society. I am very interested in playing volleyball at the collegiate level, and looking forward to any communication.
