Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Abby Sher and I live in Danvers, MA. I am currently in my junior year at Danvers High School where I am a forward on the field hockey team. Growing up, I was always brought to my older brother's hockey games. It is there where I was taught the true meaning of hard work and resilience and where I believe I developed the work ethic that I carry with me on the field today. My mom played field hockey at Michigan State, and is not only the person who got me into the game but also who pushes me to be the best version of myself both on and off the field. When looking for a school that is right for me, I hope to find a good mix of both athletics and academics, where I can challenge myself in both aspects.
