Personal Statement
I am smart on and off the court and am a shotty, reliable scorer for my team. I see the whole court well and find holes in the defense. I am very coachable and enjoy learning game strategy. I have a 4.3 GPA and am an honor roll student. I believe in pushing myself both on and off the court. Academically, I have taken (or am taking) 13 AP/honors/college classes thus far. I am also on the track and field team, a former writer for my high school paper, a student ambassador, and on the board for my school's Relay for Life team (raising money for Cancer research). I am also a candidate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Student Visionary of the Year leadership and fundraising campaign, raising money for blood cancer patients in honor of my mother.
