Aaliyna Patel

My name is Aaliyna Patel; I am part of the class of 2024 at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. As a senior on varsity, I displayed leadership skills by encouraging my teammates, building trust, learning how to overcome adversity, and managing my time, all while taking Honors and AP courses, achieving Honor Roll, committing 25+ hours to volleyball, and maintaining a part-time job. I learned how to stay disciplined and prioritize, which has taught me how to persevere on and off the court. We ended as 4A champions in the county and went 12-3. We won the 4A South II Regional Champions and are heading into the state quarter-finals. I am a versatile player, making me a great fit on any team as I can adapt to any position I am thrown into.
