Hi, I’m AaJaylah, but I go by AJ as short! I have been playing volleyball for 3 years. I’ve played middle blocker for most of my career, but in my 16s season, I spent some time on the right side, however during that time I ended up back in the middle due to team injuries. Now as I am in my 17s season, I am on the outside and it is definitely something! I'm learning how to play the back row and serve receive, which is something I am not used to, by any means. Even hitting on the outside is much different, but I am constantly trying to get better and become more consistent in my position. My biggest disadvantage is that I am on the shorter side of hitters in this sport, but I plan to work just as hard as the taller hitters to get where I need to be.
