Brianna Sacks (Niskayuna, New York/Niskayuna High School) has committed to play lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts. UMass, ranked 17th nationally in the most recent IWLCA Division I Coaches' Poll, is 7-2 thus far this season, including a 4-0 mark at home. The team, coached by Angela McMahon, competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Last season, UMass finished 19-2, reaching the first round of the NCAA tournament. They went undefeated in conference play at 7-0, and beat George Washington (semi-finals) and Richmond (finals) to win the A-10 Championship for the fourth consecutive season. The streak dates back to 2009. ...
