About Crossfire Volleyball Club
Crossfire Volleyball Club provides opportunities for young athletes to acquire confidence and consistency in the sport of volleyball and in life. Their mission is to provide players the opportunity to succeed based upon their strengths. They believe that their athletes will demonstrate growth in a step-by-step progression.
The fundamentals of the game are their main focus and they will strive as a club to ensure that their players are sound in the mechanics of volleyball. They believe that ‘the game teaches the game’ and their training and coaching reflects their beliefs.
Crossfire Volleyball Club uses a format of training called ‘Gold Medal Squared’. This format requires their coaches and players to understand the natural motions (physiomechanics) of the body. This format of training builds muscle memory and reduces the risk of injury. Players throughout the club become familiar with key terms that focus their attention to small details in mechanics to improve success.
Crossfire players and coaches are also strongly encouraged to demonstrate great sportsmanship and integrity both on and off the court.
